Scope and responsible party
JoloConnect is responsible for personal information submitted through this website and processed while discussing or delivering networking, introduction and partnership services. Privacy requests can be made through the Contact page.
Information collected
The enquiry form collects a name, email address, optional telephone number, optional company or role, area of interest, message and consent confirmation. A submission record also includes its time and a one-way hash of the sending IP address. Do not submit identity numbers, banking information, passwords or unrelated confidential third-party information.
Purpose and legal grounds
Information is used to respond, understand the requested service, prepare follow-up, protect the form, deliver agreed work and keep necessary business records. Processing may rely on consent, requested pre-contractual steps, contract, legal duties and appropriate legitimate interests.
Introductions and sharing
Personal details are not shared for an introduction merely because an enquiry was received. JoloConnect seeks agreement for the specific introduction and shares only the context needed by the intended participant. Necessary hosting or technical providers may process limited information under suitable obligations. Personal information is not sold.
Retention and security
Enquiries that do not progress are normally removed after 24 months. Active service, financial or dispute records may be kept for legally required periods. Controls include server-side validation, protected storage, access restriction, session security, rate limiting and IP hashing.
Your rights and complaints
You may request access, correction or deletion, object where appropriate or withdraw consent where it is the ground. Identity verification may be required. South Africa’s Information Regulator can be contacted at enquiries@inforegulator.org.za, +27 10 023 5200 or 0800 017 160, Woodmead North Office Park, 54 Maxwell Drive, Woodmead, Johannesburg, 2191.
